Pumpkin & Black Cat Wall Sign Halloween Welcome Sign

Autumn gets into the woodwork.

A black cat sits on a low ledge, tail curled around, fur worked in long carved swirls that catch light down its back. Behind it an arched opening holds a gold crescent moon, a few stars and small birds crossing a pale sky. The cat's face is turned in profile with one green eye showing.

Maple leaves in rust, ochre and grey crowd the top corners and pile along the bottom, and four pumpkins sit among them, two of them carved with faces. The whole panel is toned like old carved wood, warm brown against near-black, with a twisted rope border down each side. That carving is printed onto a flat sheet, so the depth lives in the picture only.

Hang it portrait on a covered porch wall, or inside beside a shelf of gourds from late September onward. It reads harvest rather than horror. A gift for a cat person who starts pulling out the fall decorations before the leaves have turned.
