Eight seasonal archways around one full moon

A gold wheel fills the centre of the panel. Eight stone-pillared archways stand around it, each opening onto a different season: snow-covered fir trees, pink blossom, sunflowers, grapes and wheat on the vine, red and orange maple leaves, pumpkins and gourds, hanging purple blossom, and small white flowers by water. Every arch holds its own animal, among them an owl perched on a branch, a white rabbit, an antlered stag, a black corvid, a pale canine lying in snow, and a seated tan big cat. At the middle of the wheel sits one full moon, ringed by a band of crescent and gibbous phases.

The ground is midnight navy scattered with small stars, so the gold work reads from across a room. Four pentacle medallions sit in circles on the outer gold ring, spaced between eight-pointed gold stars and snowflake-shaped gold ornaments at the four diagonal points. Smaller touches repeat inside the arches: lit pillar candles, a gold chalice in the autumn arch, a crescent moon low at the bottom centre, and two small gold glyphs on the lower ring.
