The crone brought her own staff.

She is cast in green and gold bronze, close up, filling the panel from the shoulders. The face is the point: deep lines around the mouth, hooded eyes looking slightly off to one side, a long nose, the jaw set. Her hat is enormous and soft, creased along the crown, a plain buckled band across the front and the tip flopping backward.

Hair falls in thick waves either side of her face, worked in the same metal. One hand grips a knotted wooden staff, knuckles raised, and a round pendant hangs at her chest. The ground behind is flat weathered green, with rust speckles crowding in along all four edges. The sculpted look is printed onto flat aluminium rather than cast.

Hang it portrait beside a doorway or over a work table, where the green reads against white or stone. This is the old woman of the fairy tales rather than a costume witch, which makes it a good gift for someone who has been called crone with affection.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
