A witch in a wide hat and long full skirt sits on the ground beneath a tree, one arm held out for the raven perched on her wrist. The two face each other, the bird leaning in with its beak lowered. Behind them a crescent moon hangs in a heavy sky, two bats cross it, bare trees run to the horizon and the roof of a house shows through the branches.

Everything - the folds of the skirt, the leaves, the grass - is worked in the same bronze and pewter, except for three red apples and a scatter of pinecones along the bottom, which read almost like a signature. The relief is printed onto a flat panel, not cast.
