Six birds, six moods. The winter one is a snowy owl on a bare branch, white pines and paper snowflakes around it, the sky running blue into violet behind a single lit lantern. The Halloween one wears a pointed hat and sits over lit pumpkins with bats crossing the moon. Then there is a stained-glass-style owl in blue and purple with a moon at its shoulder, a white owl framed in a gold ring, an ornate teal owl among curling foliage, and a great horned owl in plain browns with enormous eyes. Three of the six are winter scenes, which is unusual for a set like this.
Feathers, snow and frame all sit on one level - the carved look is printed onto a flat round, as the 2D note on the listing photo says.
The snow design carries a room from Yule through February; the pumpkin one covers October. Owls belong to Hecate and to Athena both, so this lands well with a reader. It fits a child's room too, as long as you skip the pointed hat one.
