The disc splits straight down the middle. On the right sits the sun half, molten orange and gold, covered edge to edge in curling filigree with one small burning orb set low in the curve. On the left runs the night half in deep indigo and violet, scattered with gold stars, one bright four-pointed star, a pale moon low in the field, and rolling swirls that read like wind moving over water.
Where the two halves meet, a woman's profile rises in warm ivory, eyes closed, gold ornament traced across her brow and cheekbone. A red-gold scroll border rings the whole panel. Two small holes are punched through the rim, top and bottom, for hanging.
Hang it where morning light lands, a kitchen window or a stair landing, or stand it behind a working altar at Litha and Mabon when the balance of light is the point.
