Mushroom and Mystic Owl Quilt Bedding Set

The mushrooms are lit from inside.

An owl's face takes the top half of the quilt, drawn as ornament rather than portrait: turquoise and copper scrollwork over the brow, feathers patterned like enamel, two huge green eyes ringed in petal shapes. Below him the forest floor is crowded with mushrooms, gold caps and spotted teal ones and pale stems, every one of them glowing, with green leaves, curling tendrils and scattered gold sparks between. The whole print is keyed to deep forest green and old gold. The pillowcases show the same face among smaller mushrooms.

The most botanical set in the range, which puts it in a room with plants rather than pumpkins. Good all year and particularly through spring, and a solid present for a forager, or for anyone whose camera roll is entirely moss and fungi and the odd blurred toad.
