One moon between two muzzles.

This one is painted rather than drawn. A black wolf on the left and a white wolf on the right lean in until their noses almost meet, the fur rendered strand by strand, both eyes catching the same amber light. A grey full moon hangs in the gap between their heads.

Behind them a dark forest fades back into blue, with one bare tree standing between them at the bottom edge. Gold branches and leaves are worked around the whole rim in fine metallic line. Shadow and modelling are printed, and the panel itself stays flat. That gold rim reads as a real frame from a few feet away, and the trees behind carry almost no detail, which pushes both animals forward.
