The bird sits square to you, chest out, wearing a gold pentacle on a fine chain. Behind him the sky is deep violet and thick with stars, and five moons arc across the top, full at the center and thinning to crescents at both ends.

The ring around him is heather rather than holly: dusty purple berries, dried stems, a few pale leaves. Underneath sit two lit candles, apothecary bottles in amber and teal, a cauldron pushing out green-violet smoke, a scatter of amethyst points and one small skull. A single amber teardrop hangs from the bottom of the printed circle.

It reads best deep in the tree, where the violet has something dark behind it. Out of season it will sit on a shelf beside your own bottles, or go on a Samhain altar without looking out of place. An easy pick for anyone who keeps a corvid on everything they own.
