A black cat sits in silhouette on the lower horn of a huge glowing crescent, tail hanging over the edge, one ear caught in gold light. From the inner curve of that crescent hang fine chains with glass spheres on them, and a full blue moon sits off to the right.
Everything else is filigree cloud in teal, violet and rose, studded with small bubbles of light, and along the bottom a strip of still water takes the reflection. The sky fades from deep teal at the top down to a pale sunrise behind the cat.
This one is quiet enough for a bedroom window, and it looks best at dusk when the outside light drops and the gold curve is the brightest thing left. It works as a birthday gift for a moon watcher, or for the friend whose black cat wakes them at three in the morning and then sits on the windowsill waiting for the sun to come up.
