The rags trail down to the boat.

A tall hooded figure stands in heavy rain, the face lost completely in shadow under the hood. The robe is torn into long moss-green strips that hang down over the side of a wooden boat at the bottom edge. One hand holds a battered lantern, and that small orange flame is the only warm colour in the picture. Far off to the left a castle shows through the downpour with a single lit window. Everything else is storm blue and slate grey. A flat print in a dark speckled frame.

The most cinematic piece in the run. It suits a dim hallway or a study, and makes a good gift for anyone who likes their gothic wet and cold.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
