A Brigid's cross woven from green rushes stands upright at the centre, its arms offset in the traditional way and a spiral worked into the middle. A single white flame burns at the top of it, ringed by faint gold circles of light. Clumps of snowdrops push up through frost on either side of the base. The ground is pale cream fading to soft green, Imbolc Flame is lettered in green at the top, and a banner across the foot reads Kindling New Beginnings.

An early February flag for the point where the light starts coming back and the first bulbs break through. It is pale enough to read against a grey sky and a snowy yard, and it suits anyone who keeps Brigid, or who wants a quiet flag between Yule and spring.
