Hecate's wheel, drawn in white.

Almost nothing here but one symbol. The strophalos, the wheel associated with Hecate, is drawn in clean white line on plain black: three looping maze-like arms folded around each other, ending in small beaded terminals, with fine rays running outward between them.

At the centre sits a little rosette like a sun inside a ring of dots. At each of the four points beyond the wheel there is a small ringed planet with a crescent hanging below it, and stars are scattered loose across the rest of the black. No shading, no second colour, nothing that competes with a card laid on top.

The emptiness is the point: this is a mat to read on rather than a picture to look at, and dark decks show up on it as well as light ones. Set candles in a holder or on a heatproof dish rather than on the cloth. A gift for anyone who works at the crossroads.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
