Halloween Witch Metal Sign Gothic Decor

Two bats and a gold hillside.

This one is drawn in layers, like paper cut and stacked. A black witch silhouette stands centre with her back half turned, hat brim long and curling at the tip, hair blown out sideways in fine strands. Her gown falls in a wide bell to the base of the circle.

Behind her sit rounded gold hills and a pale sky, framed at the top by black tree branches heavy with leaves. Two bats cross the left side and a small lantern hangs from a branch on the right. Copper linework runs over the black skirt and the foreground, drawing ferns, grasses, seed heads and a few moths, while the outer edge is cut into a scalloped, uneven rim.

The depth in the artwork is printed, not built from separate layers, which is worth knowing before it arrives. Hang it on a door or a garden fence for the autumn, or give it to the friend who wants Halloween to look elegant.
