A bat where the hands meet.

The face is aged parchment over vertical boards, stained and flaked, with black Roman numerals and a thin minute track around the edge. A black bat sits dead centre, wings spread flat to either side and the membranes ribbed, with a small skull-like face right where the hands are pinned. The frame does the heavy work: dark scrolled corners with copper showing through worn paint, and a fan of leaves at top and bottom.

The carved frame and the moulded bat are both printed onto a flat panel.

Muted enough to stay up past October, since it reads as a battered antique rather than a party prop. Good over a bookcase or in a hallway, and a fair gift for someone whose taste runs to Victorian mourning and old apothecary shelves rather than orange and green.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
