Red body on a bolted plate.

The spider here is glossy red — two rounded segments, front and back, both dimpled like hammered enamel, with a tiny pair of eyes at the front. Its eight legs are a different material altogether: pale gold, banded at each joint, bent sharply and reaching almost to the corners of the panel.

It sits on a grey plate engraved with a web, the strands cut fine and radiating out from behind the body. Around that runs a rusted border, gold flaking off in patches, studded with black dome bolts. Orange rust streaks bleed in from the edges over the grey. It reads as something bolted to a hull and forgotten there, though every bit of that damage is printed onto a flat aluminium sheet.

The industrial edge makes it work outside the usual Halloween window — a workshop, a garage wall, a hallway with dark paint. Put it up in October beside the cobwebs, leave it up because it looks like salvage. A gift for someone who likes rust and metal more than pumpkins.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
