A desk lamp inside a chapel.
Cut to the shape of a small gothic building: a tall pointed arch in the middle flanked by two dark spired turrets, with stepped bookcases filling the wings. The arched windows are filled with cream and amber panes and a rose motif at the centre, and climbing roses in red and gold spread across the upper glass.
At the base sits a dark wooden desk with an open book on it and a lit table lamp, its shade glowing orange. Tiny candles burn on the bookshelves either side, the shelves are packed with spines, and the whole lower half is warmer in tone than the cold glass above it.
Less a Halloween piece than a small shrine to reading. Hang it in a study window, above a desk or at the end of a bookshelf where a lamp can sit behind it in the evening. An easy gift for a reader who already owns every candle they need. One size, cut to the outline of the building.

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.
