It greets people in blackletter.

A tawny owl sits square in the middle on a gnarled branch, round face turned out, brown and cream feathers scaled down the breast. Around it, bare grey trees twist in from both sides, hung with clusters of small red berries, the only real color in the picture.

Behind, a spired castle stands in white mist at the end of a bare wood. Along the bottom, the word Welcome is set in white gothic blackletter with a flourish trailing off each end. Browns, greys and fog carry the rest of it. The depth in the bark and the feathers is printed onto a flat aluminium circle.

This one was made for a door: a covered front porch, a back entry, a garden gate. The red berries bring it close to Yule without saying Christmas, and the castle keeps it gothic the rest of the year. A safe gift for someone who wants a welcome sign that is not a farmhouse plaque.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
