An upright frame in black resin, the moulding worked into pierced scrolls and cusped points, with a tall crested finial at the top and a matching spread of leafwork at the foot. The opening is a plain rectangle, shown empty in every photo, and the surround is heavy enough that whatever goes inside will be the quiet part.

Perched on the lower rail, half in front of the frame, is a raven. It faces left, wings closed, feathers cut in fine lines down the back and breast, beak and claws in the same matte black as the rest. The bird stands proud of the moulding and throws a shadow across the frame edge.

Use it for an ancestor photograph, a saint card, a tarot card or a pressed feather on an altar. In Celtic and Norse tradition the raven is a bird of memory and messages, which suits a remembrance corner.
