Bats crossing a mustard sky.
A big raven stands on a lit jack-o'-lantern, wings folded, beak open as if mid-call, feathers picked out in black and steel blue. The sky behind him is one broad sheet of mustard and gold panes with a huge sun or moon set into it, and six or seven bats cut across in silhouette. More pumpkins crowd the bottom edge, half a dozen of them, one carved and lit and the rest left whole.
Round the rim runs a band of small rectangles in teal, orange, violet and cobalt, like the edging on a chapel window, and inside that a ring of fine dark leading holds the sky together.
This is the loudest, warmest piece of the set, and it wants full sun. A porch window, a kitchen door, a shop counter through October. If you decorate a whole window with several hangings, use this one as the centre in the larger size and keep the quieter cats around it in the smaller.
- Material: printed acrylic panel, hung from a cord through the holes at the top
- Sizes: 15x15CM and 20x20CM
- Care: wipe clean with a soft dry cloth
- Note: the stained-glass effect is printed onto clear acrylic, not leaded glass
