Dogwood blossoms around a still bird.

A raven sits on a thin branch facing right, wings folded and tail dropping towards the bottom of the disc. The feathers are drawn in tight overlapping rows. Around it, dogwood flowers and small butterflies climb the branch in dull copper and rose. The centre behind the bird is a pale misty grey with a faint floral ghost pattern showing through. A heavy scalloped frame with corner blocks runs around the whole edge.

Frame, bird and flowers are all printed to look like cast and patinated metal — bright rims, dark hollows. The disc itself is a flat sheet.

Softer than most crow art because of the blossom, which makes it work over a dresser or in a living room rather than only at Samhain. Hang it where daylight comes in from the side. A good gift for someone who wants a corvid on the wall without the graveyard. Hang it at eye level; the fine feather work and the butterflies are wasted up near a ceiling.
