Half moon, half witch.

The panel splits in two. A large crescent moon takes the left, sunk into the surface with faint markings across its face, and on the right a witch leans in from the edge under a wide pointed hat. Her face is pale and set, dark streaks running from both eyes down her cheeks, hair falling in long strands beside a high ruffled collar.

Everything is the same weathered green-grey, like plaster left outdoors a few winters too long: cracks running through the middle, chips, pitting, faint symbols scratched into the surface. Branches and roots twist around the outer edge with a few small orange leaves caught in them, the only warm color on the sign. The relief is printed onto a flat aluminium panel.

Hang it landscape over a bed or an altar table, against a plain wall so the cracks show. It is quiet rather than gruesome, and it suits anyone who marks the lunar cycle. A fitting gift for a dark moon, or for Samhain.
