Blue orbs set into the gold.

A pale owl fills the disc, cream and grey feathers layered down the breast, ear tufts up, two amber-gold eyes under a hard brow. Behind him hangs a cratered moon, half of it lit gold and half sunk in shadow, on a midnight blue ground ruled with fine radiating lines.

The frame is gilded scrollwork, and set into it are rounded glass beads that shift from cold blue to warm honey as they go round, largest at the bottom and dwindling toward the top. A narrow outer band of red and gold enamel finishes the edge.

Owls carry associations with wisdom and night sight, which makes this an easy piece for a study, a home office or a window above a desk. Hang it where a lamp sits behind it in the evening as well as daylight in front. Fitting for a teacher, a night worker or anyone who collects owls, in either of the two sizes.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
