Tiers of black on ivory.

An ivory disc, and against it a witch in profile: pointed hat with a small bloom at the crown, hair pinned up, and a gown that drops into four wide ruffled tiers, each edge lifted and shadowed. She is entirely black except for the gold tracing her hem.

The border is dense scrollwork — curling black vines, small flowers, tiny bats worked into the pattern, gold catching the curves. A pale sun sits low behind her shoulder, and a handful of birds cross the empty cream space. The contrast is the design: heavy silhouette on a light ground. Look closely and the border is doing as much work as the figure is.

Because the background is cream rather than black, it hangs well on a dark wall where most gothic pieces disappear. Suits a dressing room, a hallway, or the space above a vanity. A good gift for the friend whose aesthetic is more Victorian mourning than pumpkin patch. It pairs well with black frames and a jar of dried roses.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
