A single triquetra in pale gold takes the middle, its three loops crossed by one ring, the metal edges catching light along every curve. Behind it the disc is cut into wedges of deep blue, emerald, ruby and violet, each pane speckled with small bubbles as though the glass had cooled fast.
A fine web of gold leading runs from the center out to the rim in a spider-web pattern, with tiny beads at the crossings, and a narrow band of teal panes finishes the edge. Color reads strongest at the top, where the red and blue meet.
Hang it in a window that gets direct sun and the four colors land on the wall opposite. The triquetra is read as maiden, mother and crone in a lot of Pagan practice, which makes it a fitting handfasting present, and it also works simply as a bright disc over a kitchen sink or a bathroom window that faces a blank wall.
