Coiled into a green ring.

A dragon curls nose to tail inside a bronze frame. The scales run from deep emerald over the back to bright jade along the coil, each one drawn separately, and a pair of long pale horns sweep back from the head. One amber eye stays open.

A leathery wing folds down the left side, and the tail loops back in at the bottom with a small tuft at the tip. The teal ground behind is crackled like old glaze. A Celtic braid and four small flower bosses ring the outside. The depth is printed onto a flat panel. The bronze frame is stepped in two rings with the flower bosses set at the quarters. Nothing on it is pierced through.

Good on a green wall, in a plant-heavy room, or propped on a stand along a shelf. It suits Beltane and midsummer far better than Samhain. A useful gift for the dragon collector who already owns too many figurines and has run out of surfaces to stand them on.
