A snowy owl flies straight out of the flag, wings fully open, every barred feather drawn in white and pale blue. Behind its head a gold triple moon burns, a full moon flanked by two crescents, throwing rays into a deep navy sky. Snowflakes and pale swirls of wind fill the space around the wings, and the whole print holds to three colours: navy, silver and gold.

The greeting runs across the lower third in ornate silver capitals with gold shadow, split over three lines: Blessed Solstice, To All.

Made for the weeks around Yule and the winter solstice, and it holds through January without looking like leftover Christmas decorating. Hang it at the door for a solstice gathering, or give it to someone who keeps the long night rather than the holiday.
