The black cat is the witch's familiar, the quiet companion who keeps watch through the dark half of the year.

In folklore the black cat walks between the hearth and the unseen, a familiar who shares the witch's work. Here she curls on a book of spells, sits in the crescent moon and guards the candle flame, turning a cheerful Christmas tree into a little celebration of the familiar.

For cat lovers with a witchy streak, anyone missing a black cat of their own, or a cozy gothic Christmas tree. A sweet Pagan gift for Yule or a holiday swap.
