A long-haired cat sits with feathered wings folded up behind it, head turned slightly to one side, blue eyes fixed just past your shoulder. Fur and feathers are worked entirely in stone grey and silver, coat drawn strand by strand, wings drawn feather by feather, with a small maple leaf hanging at the throat. The tail curls forward around its front paws.

The ground is flat black. Around the rim run heavy maple leaves, pine cones and clusters of dark berries, all in the same pewter grey with gold along the leaf edges, over a band of small raised dots.
