Yin-Yang Celestial Goddess Yule Ceramic Ornament – Sun and Moon Pagan Ornament

Two goddesses form a yin-yang across the whole face of the disc. On the gold half a sun goddess leans down with her eyes closed, a crown of rays on her head and sunflowers worked into hair that pours around the curve. On the blue half a winter goddess mirrors her, white blossoms at her temple and a thin crescent above.

Where the halves meet stands a brass cauldron with a knotwork band on its belly and steam rising off it. Sunflowers, mushrooms and amber bottles crowd the warm side; violets, a lit crystal ball and purple vials fill the cold one. A carved scrollwork rim closes the circle.

Good on a tree that mixes warm and cool bulbs, or on a window latch where both halves catch light. It sits on an Ostara or Litha altar as easily as a Yule one, which makes it a fair gift for someone who works with balance rather than one season.
