Witch Cauldron Halloween Quilt Bedding Set

The pot glows violet at dusk.

The background runs from deep purple at the top through amber at the foot, with a huge pale moon behind an oversized black witch hat whose tip curls back on itself. Flowers and a purple stone sit in the hatband. Below it a black cauldron throws violet light upward, next to an open grimoire showing pentacle diagrams, lit candles, small pumpkins, lavender stems and a couple of bats. The drawing is soft-edged and painterly rather than sharp. The pillowcases carry the cauldron, the bottles and the pumpkins under the same wide moon.

Quieter than most Halloween prints, which means it survives past the season on a bed that stays autumnal. Good in a room with warm lamps and wooden furniture, and calm enough for a spare room. Suits someone who marks Samhain with candles and a book rather than with plastic decorations.
