Two towers and a dog.

The card cut down to a small rectangle with clipped corners and a scrolling vine border. A crescent with a face in profile hangs between two tall towers; a path runs from the water at the bottom of the card up between them and out of sight. A dog stands on the left bank with its head thrown back, and the words The Moon sit on a banner at the foot.

The piece is struck rather than solid, so the back shows the same scene in reverse, hollowed instead of raised - the towers sunk, the crescent turned the other way. A twisted rope chain runs through the bail.

The Moon is the card of the thing you half-see and cannot name. Wear it through a spell of confusion, or give it to a reader who keeps drawing it and swearing at it. The vine border repeats on both faces.
