The Empress on a small rectangle, framed by the same scrolling vine border used across this set. She sits well back on a cushioned seat in a loose robe, a crown of stars arcing behind her head, one hand resting in her lap. A heart-shaped shield leans against the seat with the Venus sign cut into it, and a thick stand of wheat rises across the whole foreground, heads bent over. The Empress is lettered on a banner at the base.

Because the pendant is struck from sheet, the back shows the same scene hollowed out in reverse, title reading upside down along the top edge.

The Empress is abundance, fertility, the season doing its work without being pushed. It suits Litha and Mabon, a new home, a pregnancy, or anyone building something slowly. It layers well with a longer chain, and her robe is patterned all over with small round fruit, picked out in the strike.
