Occult Witch Metal Sign Mystical Home Decor

A shape against the moonrise.

The moon does most of the work here — a huge gold disc, pitted and streaked, sitting just above the horizon and filling the upper left. In front of it a witch stands in full silhouette, hat on, long dress and hair streaming to one side in the wind. Below her the land is nearly black, with a river catching the gold light as it winds toward the front of the frame, and jagged peaks fading into orange cloud on both sides. A thin band of cloud crosses the moon just above the horizon. The outer rim is chipped and uneven like weathered iron, printed to look carved.

The strong shape means it still reads from the far end of a room, which suits a high wall, a mantel, or a spot over a doorway. Warm gold makes it easy alongside wood and brass. Give it to the friend who does her best thinking outside after dark, at the full moon or otherwise. There is no clutter in it, so it survives a busy room.
