Moonlight Owl Metal Sign Spirit Owl Wall Art for Halloween Decor

The moon went green tonight.

A horned owl sits on the corner of a stone wall, body turned out, head round to face you, the feathers barred in brown and cream. A second bird comes in behind him on the right with its wings open.

The moon behind takes up most of the disc and glows a hard mint green, craters black, the lower left half warming through to gold. Ivy-covered trees lean in from both sides to frame it, an iron fence runs along the bottom, and three more birds cross the gold. The mossy stone and the framing branches are painted effects on a flat panel. The green and the gold split the moon almost exactly down the middle, which is the trick the whole design rests on.

Green like this needs a dark wall or a shaded porch to do its work: a covered entry, a stairwell, the space above a bench. It reads Halloween in October and plain woodland the rest of the year. Right for someone who hangs owls but is tired of the cute ones.
