This one is illustrated rather than sculpted. A wolf sits in profile, tail curled forward around its paws, and its whole body is filled with deep space - teal and violet clouds, pink glowing knots, small white stars burning inside the fur. The tail is the showpiece: a spiral of feathered strokes wrapped around a blue-purple nebula.
Behind the wolf a large crescent moon rises pale and cratered, the sky around it inked black. Four-pointed sparkles flare near the muzzle and along the flank. The outer rim is black flecked with white, so the disc looks cut straight out of the night. The artwork is printed flat, edge to edge, with no raised texture - the depth is all in the drawing.
Because the palette is jewel-toned rather than rusted and grey, it works year-round instead of only through autumn. Hang it in a bedroom, over a desk, or in a young witch's room where a howling stone wolf would be too grim. A good gift for anyone who keeps astronomy and animal spirits in the same practice.
