White line work on a solid black ground, and nothing else. A pentacle stands at the centre inside a wreath of leafy vines, with a row of moon phases running above it and another below. A patterned moth sits in the top left corner, an open palm marked with palmistry lines in the top right, a sun with a sleeping face at the bottom left and a cluster of crystal points at the bottom right. A thin ruled border with small corner flourishes closes the square.

By far the plainest cloth here, which is the point: the white lines stay readable by candlelight and nothing on the fabric competes with the cards you lay across it. There is room for a full spread on the larger size. Keep flames in a holder, off the cloth. A sound first altar cloth, and an easy gift when you do not know someone's taste well.
