The wolf who sings to the full moon is the old image of instinct answering a call.
In Norse myth wolves chase the sun and moon across the sky, and in many folk tales the wolf is a guide for those who walk alone. Paired with the full moon, it stands for intuition, loyalty to one's pack and the wild self that wakes at night.
For the full moon devotee and the solitary witch, worn to esbats, forest walks at dusk and late autumn gatherings around a fire.
