Red tapers, and a green stare.

A black cat sits centered with wide yellow-green eyes and whiskers picked out in white. Two red taper candles stand in black wrought-iron holders on either side of him, a small spider hanging on a thread near the top. The ground is warm gold, painted like old varnish, with maple and oak leaves in rust and green drifting through it and thin berry vines at the edges. The bottom is a bank of orange pumpkins and rust-colored daisies. The pillowcases repeat the cat and the candles at roughly half that scale.

Warm rather than dark, so it is easy to leave up right through autumn instead of only for Halloween week. It suits a room with wood furniture and brass lamps. An easy gift for a cat owner, or a housewarming present for a first apartment.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
