Lantern Ghost Quilted Witch Hat – Halloween Pumpkin Coven Brim Hat

A parade of little sheet ghosts, most of them in witch hats of their own

A tall cream sheet ghost stands at the front of the cone in a bed of purple and orange flowers, with a gold crescent moon and eight-point stars printed above its head. Three smaller ghosts around it each wear a tiny black witch hat, and the one on the right carries a lit lantern, all set against orange panels of bare black autumn trees.

Around the brim the wedges alternate orange bare-tree panels, plum purple, and star-flecked black. Ghosts appear in four of them, two in witch hats with lit lanterns, with a ribbed orange pumpkin in two more, a gold crescent moon in another, and a wedge of three dripping lit candles, all edged in purple asters, oak leaves and red berries.

For anyone who decorates for Halloween in September and keeps a ghost or two out all year. The wide brim gives the ghosts room to be seen from the side, which suits a party, a porch shift, or a cemetery walk.

• Material: quilted polyester with a padded, stitched texture that holds the cone upright instead of flopping
• Size: one size — brim about 17.5 in (44.5 cm) across, cone about 13 in (33 cm) tall
• All over print: printed on the outside of the cone and both sides of the brim, so the pattern shows whether the brim sits flat or turns up
• Care: spot clean with a damp cloth and let it air dry; do not machine wash or the quilting loses its shape
• Note: made to order. Print placement can shift slightly, seams can move by 2–3 cm, and colours read a little deeper on fabric than on screen
