He watches the doorway.

The gargoyle crouches on a scrolled corbel, knuckles forward, wings pulled up and open behind his shoulders. Gray stone skin, heavy shoulders, pointed ears, a short muzzle with the teeth showing, and two orange eyes that stay on you as you cross the room. Behind him the disc is pale sandstone with faint ghost figures worked into it, and the outer band carries a zigzag border like something off an old cathedral cornice. There is no lettering and no color beyond the stone and those two eyes.

Cathedral gargoyles are cut from stone. This one is printed to look like carved stone on a flat panel, which is why it weighs almost nothing on the hook.

Put it beside a front door, over a workbench, or in a stairwell where the light rakes across it. Gargoyles have stood as guardian figures on European buildings for centuries, so it suits someone moving into an old house. The 12x12 carries the face properly; the 8x8 turns him into a small watchful ornament.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
