The snake fills the oval.
A teardrop-shaped plaque that comes to a point at the top under a small fan crest, with pierced scrollwork running down both sides and gathering again into a scrolled foot. Inside sits a plain dished oval, and across it a snake is laid in three long S-curves, thick through the middle, the head turned down towards the bottom of the panel. Scales are cut fine and close along the whole body, so the snake's back catches light while the panel stays flat and dull.
All of it is matte black, including the head, and the relief is deep enough that from the side the coils stand well clear of the backing.
It suits a serpent-keeping altar, a shelf of skulls and old bottles, or the wall of a stairwell where a tall narrow shape works better than a square one. Good for anyone drawn to the snake as a symbol of shedding and starting again.

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.
