Three specimens, one frame.

The frame stays the same on all three: a pierced oval rim of curling scrollwork, a crest above, a scrolled foot below, and a dished panel carried across with a fine woven texture. What changes is the creature raised out of it. The scorpion is seen from above, claws pushed forward, tail curled over its own back. The spider drops on a thin line from the top of the oval, body heavy, eight legs reaching almost to the rim. The bat hangs head down, wings folded in tight.

Everything is one matte black, frame and creature alike, so the piece works on shadow rather than colour. Put a lamp to one side and the legs and claws lay their own outlines across the panel.

Small enough to hang as a row of three, or alone in the strip of wall beside a mirror. A gift for anyone who keeps beetles under glass and bones on the shelf.

Returns & guarantee

If it is not what we showed you. Damaged, the wrong item, or materially different from the photographs — tell us within 30 days of delivery. One email and one clear photo is enough to start. You choose a refund or a replacement, and in many cases we settle it from the photo and you keep the item.

If it never arrives. If your parcel has not reached you 60 days after it shipped, we refund your order in full.
