The point carries a gold crescent moon on a hanging star-chain. Below it sits the hero print: a round scrying orb full of violet cloud, gold starbursts and one long comet, resting in a footed gold stand. A lit candle burns in a gold wall sconce on each side, each hung with a clear crystal drop, and a gold skeleton key runs down each side panel. A bone and gold planchette with a purple cabochon closes the cone at the brim line.

The brim is cut into wedges of burgundy damask, plum velvet and warm brown. The front wedge holds a triple moon - a cratered full moon between two gold crescents - over a large eight-point compass star. Around the circle sit amethyst crystal clusters with gold leaf sprays, lit candles in gold candlesticks, and red berry sprigs. Gold bead piping runs every seam out to the plain black bound edge.
