A long-haired black cat sits upright on a cracked stone marker, tail hanging down the front of it, a small cross scratched into the face of the stone. The eyes are a flat, hard green. Behind him a blood moon takes up most of the dial, mottled deep crimson, with fine red webbing strung across the sky on the right.
The numbers one to twelve ring the outer edge in a white outline, clear of the picture, with tick marks between them and a thin red second hand over the middle. It is a printed panel, so the moon and the stonework carry their shadow rather than any real depth.
