The cat is seen from behind, sitting tall with its head turned up and to the right, one ear catching the light. It wears a fine chain of pearls with a crescent charm hanging at the throat, and its tail curls out to the side in a long feathered plume. Ahead of it the sky is deep navy, piled with enormous silver-lit clouds, a small round moon set high and gold stars scattered between.

The frame is antique brass scrollwork, wide and swirling, with a few tiny crystal accents worked into the lower curves. Colour stays cold — navy, slate, silver — with the brass rim as the only warmth.
