Yule Cat Quilted Witch Hat – Black Cat Pagan Winter Wide Brim Hat

A black cat under a pearl crescent, its gold paw prints carrying on around the brim

A long-haired black cat with yellow eyes sits upright at the front of the cone, a wide pearl-white crescent moon rising behind its head with a small gold star hung on a thread beside it. Spruce and fir sprigs, holly with red berries, white mistletoe berries, a gold pinecone and a gold six-petal flower bank up around its paws, over cream, green and burgundy panels.

Cream, forest green, deep red and black wedges ring the brim. One black wedge holds a large silver eight-point star; others carry gold cat paw prints pressed into the dark cloth, lit ivory candles, gold pinecones, clear quartz points, pearl and red berries and white snowflakes, with small gold crescent moons set in the black wedges.

For the witch whose cat supervises every candle she lights. A Pagan winter hat with a wide brim for a solstice gathering or a December market, midwinter without the costume.

• Material: quilted polyester with a padded, stitched texture that holds the cone upright instead of flopping
• Size: one size — brim about 17.5 in (44.5 cm) across, cone about 13 in (33 cm) tall
• All over print: printed on the outside of the cone and both sides of the brim, so the pattern shows whether the brim sits flat or turns up
• Care: spot clean with a damp cloth and let it air dry; do not machine wash or the quilting loses its shape
• Note: made to order. Print placement can shift slightly, seams can move by 2–3 cm, and colours read a little deeper on fabric than on screen
