Collection: Ancestors & Remembrance

🕯️ Samhain is the thin point in the year, and this is the shelf you build for it. Ancestor altar pieces cover round metal signs, ceramic ornaments, quilt bedding, acrylic signs, altar supplies, oval frames and blankets.

Ravens and black cats dominate the imagery, since both are old messengers between the living and the dead. Spell books, crows under the moon and autumn witch scenes fill out the rest, in blacks, deep golds and tarnished copper.

Blankets and quilt sets extend it past the altar, which matters in the weeks when the dark comes early and the house needs to feel closed in. An oval frame holds a photograph on a remembrance altar without looking like a shrine, which is the practical reason people start here. The ornaments carry the same purpose onto a Yule tree later in the year.
