The print is a tall dark wood curio cabinet seen head on, filled shelf by shelf. A large brass crescent moon sits at the top centre with a pentacle hanging beneath it on a chain, and a black bird perches in the arch at the top left. In the middle, a pale green long-tailed moth stands under a glass bell jar, with a cloche of tan spotted-cap mushrooms beside it. The lower doors are carved with a gold sun face and a second crescent moon.

The background is a near-black brown, which keeps the antique brass work legible from the far side of a room. Ivy trails over every shelf edge and small lit candles sit between the objects. The gaps are filled with a row of six brass skeleton keys on chains, an armillary sphere, two hourglasses, a mortar and pestle, scrying orbs, an eight-pointed star ornament, a pale long-snouted animal skull, an open brass palm, framed pinned insects and pressed fern fronds. Bundles of dried herbs hang above purple flowers in brass vases, so deep green and amethyst are the only strong colours against the brown.
