One owl grew antlers.
A barn owl takes the left side, heart shaped face pale cream, a crown of daisies and orange blooms across the head. On the right sits a brown eagle owl wearing the same flower crown with a full set of stag antlers rising out of it. Between the two birds a gold pentacle hangs inside a ring of ivy and blossom.
Under them a cauldron holds one candle flame. More candles, an open book, a corked bottle and violet flowers fill the lower band. A crescent moon sits top left, a woven disc hung with feathers top right. The words at the foot: The Craft calls to you, listen to the whisper of your soul.
A throw for a hedge witch, or anyone who works with the greenwood and the horned god. It reads well in a room of houseplants and second hand books, and makes a steady Mabon or birthday gift for a birder in the craft.
